From The Artist:
I grew up loving the Post Impressionists, especially Matisse. In my teens I discovered Corita, and loved her cut-out collages and Pop Art posters. This cross-continental pair have influenced my current work. Using simple, organic forms and flat areas of color, paying attention to negative space, informed this print, titled after an early Neil Young song. Those are the roots for this work. Perhaps you can relate?
